The 2002 Winter Olympic Games provided the focus to upgrade the Ogden City’s Police, Fire, Communications, Emergency Operations and Traffic Management facilities. The City marked the turn of the century with a new Public Safety Building. The project plays an important part in the Ogden City Vision Plan.

The multiuse Community Meeting/Training/EOC contains a computerized audio visual system with large screen displays and commercial TV monitors.

Ogden’s growth is projected at 8% in the next 20 years. The Public Safety building is designed to have 67,000 s.f. and meet 20 year needs.
