Galt Police Facility

Programming included the 21,520 sq. ft. police facility plus service building, fuelling and wash rack and a 101,400 sq. ft. public works yard with 24,000 sq. ft. of offices, shops and warehouse to meet the projected needs for the city growth to 30,000 population. The building located in the industrial area of the city was constructed within a very tight budget using tilt up concrete panels for exterior walls and steel braced frame with composite steel/concrete roof deck. A community/EOC room, dispatch center, holding facility and exercise room available to all city staff are some of the components. |
