The Needs Assessment by Leach Mounce Architects illustrates a 14,000 square foot Emergency Operations Center converted from an existing concrete warehouse. It serves both Pierce County and the City of Tacoma, Washington. The Facility is co-located with the County Department of Emergency Management Offices which can augment the facilities in maximum events. This Facility separates the circulation for Staff, Media and Policy makers allowing for maximum security, visibility and operational efficiency.

As Programming and Public Safety Technology Specialists, Leach Mounce Architects, were consultants to Hewitt Architects on this project and were involved in all phases of the work.
